Take the LOC, connect the (+) to the white wire, and the (-) to the black wire. Once you have made your connections, do not plug it back into the sub.
I was wondering, after disconnecting the sub wire and splicing the LOC into the factory sub (-) and (+) cables, can you not plug the that sub wire back in or once u splice it can you plug the factory sub connector back? and if you cannot plug it back in does that mean you cannot rub the factory sub and the aftermarket sub together?

You can plug it in, but the question is why would you want to lol? You're not really gaining anything by reconnecting it.

Alright, so I got an Audicontrol LC6i. I'll be running some components up front power by a JBL amp and a pair of subs powered by another JBL amp. Here's how the unit looks..any ideas how I'd hook it up?

Bose. And would it be wise to use it or should I go another route? I just want to be able to use the front comps and the subs...I don't care if I lose capability of the rear speakers.

Since you have a Bose system, you can just use the four-channels of low-level inputs before they enter the Bose amplifier and run those into your four-channel amp.

Run the pre-outs from the four-channel into the 2-channel.

I don't see anything about that LOC doing balanced input compensation, so you may want to swap it out for one of units mentioned in the recent posts about what to use to convert Bose signal to "normal".

I don't have a 4 channel....got a mono and 2 channel, but I'm taking it's the same thing.

What would be the difference with using the LOC that the OP used as opposed to ones from the thread "convert bose signal to normal".

When it comes to OEM integration, I'm completely clueless as it is the first time I'm doing it.

ok so I have a Kenwood amp and two 12 in Subs connected to a stock HU. Everytime I turn off my car the subs have a big burst of sound that just goes off and its super loud. If only one of my subs are hooked up it then it doesn't do it. I don't know why it does it. Someone told me because I have a stock HU and it doesn't have a remote on and off button. Can someone tell me the easiest way to fix this problem. Either I have to get a new HU or try hooking it up with the stock amp

so there is no need to connect anything else to the LOC? like to the red and white holes?

the red and white holes are RCA inputs/outputs. they should be labled "input" or "output"

the output goes to your amps inputs

the inputs on the LOC come from your radio (if equiped)

a remote tun on is basically any kind of wire you can find

even 26ga wire is fine. its carrying a very small amount of power. I think its like 5mA or so.

You connect the turn on lead to the harness on your factory radio.

or

some LOC have auto power on and do not need a remote lead.

do you have the model number of your LOC?
