yes it fits. Or you can find just the lenses on hidplanet for less. E46 halogen projector ones also fit. like these

make sure they are either halogen or none-bixenon. bixenon e46 has a line across the lens.

it took me more than 2 hours to put this one together. It'll take a while to finish the retro one.

IvoryGT!!!! HEY!!!! Hehe saw your write up... nice, I know the amount of time it takes to do these things.. and u know me.. me and my bags of ... comments.. some good and some.. constructive critisism hehe..

Okay okay I can't hold it in... the reason there's a double shield in the projector isn't really to soften anything up hehe, it's there because it's probably cheaper for them to make a light weight shield for it to spring back up on it's own and yet to retain the function of a cut off shield. It's the same like a S2k or TSX cut off shield as this double shield gives it the thickness but if they were to make the same type of shield out of pot metal instead of two thin bent metal, it would be much more heavier and can't intergrate a "two in one" "spring and cut off shield as one" thing

Hehehe... please dont' take this the wrong way Just trying to point something out hehehe..... *holds up a bullet proof armor and mirror finish to defend against hid rays..*

So is bending the shield away from the lense to accomplish the same thing as spacing the lense further away from the projector using a washer. On HIDplanet there are alot of suggestions for doing that, but if bending the shield accomplishes the same thing it would be easier than finding the correct thickness for the spacer

Yep but hmm.. to a point... Some projectors you can close the distance between the bulb and shield while others you can't and have to push the lense away from the shield. The problem is accurate spacing and shifting the shield without literally bending it so it tilts back or forward, if it filts backwards, you'll tend to have a "bowed" cut off line that's not straight and via versa.
