The stock grill is a light black chrome color... i donít think you will ever get the original color

so guys i finally got around to painting it black....decided to try this look out first before getting it color matched to may car and this is what i got so far crappy phone pic but its worth a look

ill probably end up making another grill but just for now naw im actually procrastinating on making a mold for the bumps but i have plenty of time this weekend to work on it so im probably going to work on a mold to get these bumps lookin good

hey chris what did you do to make the bumps, did you just glob it on and sand it down?

built up the shape with a few layers of epoxy then bondo'd over it to give it a sandable surface. this is a very labor intensive method and not really recommended. the best way to do it is to make a mold of one of the existing bumps then cast a few copies with poured resin or formed plastic
