i figured theres no point since i get minimal light output anyway since i have 10000K heads (and i dont really care about the cut-off point), but i will get those for when i do the bumper fog light mod for some bright azz fogs lol

NEXT STEP IF I DECIDE TO CRACK OPEN THE HEADS AGAIN =

This is a fantastic DIY tutorial. I am at work now, but cannot wait for the weekend to do this! I posted earlier about adding a LED strip to the lights but this is a definite!

I need to do this ASAP. I done this mod to my last car along with a retrofit and loved the look.

Yea I did this to my eclipse and prelude way back in the day and I had some wicked condensation in the eclipse headlights. What kind of sealant do you use? Those look super nasty though

On most of them the stock sealant just reheated and pressed really hard will do. But now I always add window sealant I get from orielly's. Heat up the exsisting sealant up a lot around the black housing and on the clear lense so everything is hot to the touch, then lay a tiny bead of window sealant in the dip around the black housing, then quickly press the clear lense and the housing together as tight as you can working your way around it, tighten up the blubs, then press them together again working your way around the headlight. Never had any issues leaking when I used this method.

So question, the chrome part around the projector lens, Is this able to be removed from the lens to be painted?

Decided to give this a whack last night! I went ahead and removed the projector shroud also, along with the bucket for the turn signal, and the marker light "bullet". I almost did the fog light bullet, too.
