ok here it goes.. first put it up on jack stands and remove wheel and tire assemblies. remove rotors, remove e-brake shoes and hardware, to include the cable, its bolted from the back and there is a pin that drops out so the other side comes off. now remove both drive shafts (i did first side without but it took about 2 hrs longer fighting with it) you may have to use a gear puller or similar to remove the shafts all the way. now there are 4 bolts that hold the bearing assembly on, take those off and knock the assembly free. now the only thing holding the shield on is two nuts from the back side, take them out and shield will drop right off. reverse process to reinstall. let me know if you have any questions.

So I have put in my brembo front calipers I purchased off ebay and my z1 lines and drilled slotted rotors and hawk hps pads. I have done many a brake job I am a mechanic as a profession. I have not done a lot of brembo work I usually do work on basic sliding calipers not fixed so I am not completely familiar with the setup.

What I need to know is why my right front caliper would make a horrible screeching noise upon application. I notice that the noise stays for about a half a second to a second after I let the peddle go. It is a VERY loud noise. Someone recommended rebuilding all the calipers. Are the dust shields really that different in the front? I used the stock ones and it fits fine the dust shield isnt hitting the rotor everything is very well greased. THe clips and pins are in properly I cannot figure out what is wrong! Has anyone seen heard of something like this?

Should be no problem for 05, 03-06 brakes are interchangeable.

That's a generic response, if they sell you the stuff and it don't work they could be held liable. My 03 sedan had 350z brakes.

They def ARE. Did it on my 06. Just a couple of bolts difference and trimming of dust shields.

Thanks for the writeup. I'm gonna look into getting some brembos for my '04 Sedan sport and i was wondering if the wheels in this pic will clear the calipers or not. I DO NOT intend to keep those wheels but there are a few little performance things I'd like to do before putting wheels on it, namely the Brembos and '06 updated 350Z suspension. The stock ones haul it down pretty good, now but I've heard things about brake fade if you're being hard on them for any length of time (like a track day).
