scatch that i like the plenum, the increase in power at the shift mid to top end, just spanked a fx45 from 60 to 120 3 times he finally gave up,,

Great writeup, I used your guide word for word when i installed my 5/16ths MD plenum with no problems, i did loctite all my threads though for peace of mind. Keep up the great work, I praying you decide to put some coilovers on your car with a guide so we all get another great guide!

Installed mine the other day using this guide, great work!

BUT one complaint. I'm not sure if this was my fault or what, but while torquing the 18 bolts, my wrench wasn't working properly, it wasn't clicking how torque wrench's should. So I decided to skip right to 90ft/lbs, as the instructions from Motordyne suggest, and I snapped a bolt in half with one crank of the wrench.

Also, how do I get rid of the "service engine soon" light? Reset the throttle body?

Very nice work, perfect write up! Does the spacer screw with idle or overall behavior in any negative manor? 200 bucks for a 11 to 13 proven gain sounds pretty nice.

I would like to have just one person say it increased performance from 2000 rpm and up...why...because the factory has all of the tools and they are much smarter than the back yard mechinics....when they make something it takes in consideration the driver that drives in steady city traffic and needs TORQUE....then we have the driver that lives in the suburbs with many great roads to drive on with no stops etc. here is a driver that appreciates power above 3000rpm.... so when CHANGING something that the factory has designed for ALL drivers take that into consideration....if you change the airflo you will most likely pick up 3 hp above 3000rpm and lose 4 lbs of torque below. so what do you want.?

So a shop would charge me $150-$300 to install my spacer. Is this something anyone could do with basic tools? I am not a mechanic by any means but I have installed springs, coilovers, camber kit.
