looking to put a 6 cyl direct port on the manifold for safer mixture... was wondering if anyone else has tried direct port on a vq35 before an what i should look for just looking for some positive feedback/ideas, ill be using up rev for tuning and changing to colder plugs

i've never heard of anybody do direct port on the VQ. I don't see the value in the increased extra cost. If I were you, just do a standard install with a fogger 6" upstream of the throttle body.

i understand WHY you would do it...

i am saying the COST doesn't justify the difference. Plenty of people have run nitrous on these cars with no problems.

/ /> direct port on 350z

Not saying you will go boom, just saying it has been done. Someone said they had never seen it.

I've seen that vid before. didnt realize he was direct port injection - 300 is way too much for our stock block. 150 is about the max - and you would want to pull 3-4*.

i have heard of guys doing 100 but i went with 75 on a stock block to be safe with 1 step colder plugs. it dyno'd at 73 hp to the wheels and 130 ft pound of torque extra with a NX shark fogger and the AFR was dead even across the graph. the direct port is a waste of money. get a single fogger its good enough and easier to install and ALOT easier when you decide to remove it. save your money for some boost
