you gotta get under your car take off the plastic sheild and there are 2 12mm bolts....one on each tesioner pulley (one on the right and one on the left. They are the easiest bolts to get to under there. But before you can loosen them you need to loosen the pulles first by lossening the bolt on the front to the tensioner pulley. It will take you 3 minutes onse you drop the sheild.

New belts can squeak and some that is by design. I used to be a quality manager for the Gates corporation who supplies belts to every quto shop except autozone. My opinion, buy belts from any store except autozone.

Napa would be my choice you can buy a Gates brand or Napa, they are made in the same factory on the same line in Jefferson NC.... We also made a blue racing belt for the 350z or G35. Look for it...

Edit: Never buy Dayco or the belt with horizontal ribs. The ribs should only be vertical around the inside of the belt. The horizontal ribs are put there to make noise at a lower milage....

Sometimes you need to retighten new belts a week or so after putting them in. They often stretch a tad at first when installed, much like a new drive chain on a dirtbike or motorcycle.

dude i have personally talked to an infiniti mechanic about this cuz i replaced mine with the advance auto parts brand and got some squealing... he told me to tighten them, i did, no squeal... the 'only OEM' stuff is not necessarily true... at least in my experience

Mine squeeled using OEM Infiniti belts within 2 days of replacing them. I had to retighten them. I'm sure this is the case with any belt, OEM or not.

I bought my gatorbacks from autozone As far as I'm concerned its a matter of tightening or loosening the belt

Just did my belts with OEM. No squeaks or squeals. For the minimum cost difference, OEM is the way to go.
