P0300 random misfire.

Hi My G's

I'm having issues with a Code p0300 random misfire. I was on the freeway doing maybe 79-80 ish going back home because I forgot my cell phone this morning. on the freeway the SES light started blinking then went off, when I got home picked up my cell phone and my Code reader turned on the car, checked the code. it was still stored in the computer even though the SES light was off. started the ignition the code blinked and then stayed on while I was driving on the freeway. The car still runs flawless, I don't have FI, and I haven't done anything to the car lately, NO spark plugs, nor coils, nothing. I'm a freak when it comes to my cars oil every 3k valvoline syntech, only chevron, shell in my car 91 octane. I have a small list of things I want to do, tonight. 12/29/11

1st check mass air flow sensor/clean either way.
2nd park plugs NGK iridium New.
3rd check for oil leaks( i guess this will be like 2 1/2)
4th rest the computer see if it comes back up..
5th since I'm working on the car ill do the oil change I'm at 2.8k

I'm a little low on money due to the holidays.. if I wasn't I would have changed everything Minus injectors and cats. do you guys think this will fix my issues with the P0300? or do you think its something else? and do you think I shouldn't clean the MAF sensor? also. if you know? how long do coils last?

Edit: i found another code, P0011 so, I guess thats what the issue is

Check for oil pooling in your spark plug tubes. This is a very common issue. Cylinder 6 is most commonly the culprit. Post up when you get it figured out. one more thing, if you do figure out which cylinder it is, swap coil packs with the corresponding coilpack on the opposite bank. If the misfire migrates to the opposite bank you found your problem.

first thing check your plugs coils swap if need be and coil pack boots for and ark burns that is if you dont have oil leaking, p0300 codes random/multiple any more that 3 cylinders will cause this code. also check for vacume leaks around the intake mani. i always use brake clean to check for this. i recently got a #2 misfire and my coil had weak spark it was intermittently misfiring 10+ years as a auto tech/shop owner and i almost always found the coils to be the prob. in nissans

Heck my mom took her Sequoia there a few years back for an oil change. They drained the oil, changed the filter and sent her on her way. 10 miles later, the engine blew because of no oil. They paid for a brand new motor and installation at Toyota. I will never go there. I change my own oil lol.

Did they have an explanation how low oil can cause a misc misfire code to be set?

Check to make sure the #4 coil plug and #6 coil plug are not reversed. They look identical except for a tracer color on 1 wire.
