Air Mass Meter Boot - Flexible part

There is a piece of flexible hose that sits right after the MAF sensor.

Today I noticed that it has developed somewhat of a crack. It doesn't look like it is sucking air yet but I can see that happening very soon.

Do you know where I can find that piece of flexible hose??? Other then the Infiniti dealership...

I live in Canada but will be going on a trip to the USA in the near future so either country works for me !

You have 3 choices, visit you local Nissan/Infiniti wrecking yard buying a used connection. Call a Infiniti dealership on this side of the border and order the part you need, or buy a Stillen CAI/Z-Tube which is the best intake on the planet. If you're frugal there's always "Gorilla Tape!" That's 4 sorry....Gary

You can buy a whole new tube which appears to have the piece you need:

You can probably also get lucky with better pricing in the marketplace if someone's recently 'upgraded' to an all metal intake pipe. You also might even be able to makeshift a replacement if you'd prefer.

If I remember right, the Z-tube in and of itself may not come with the flex joint between the tube and MAF housing, I think that's the piece he's looking for.

This is the only way to go on this one, I patched mine up and it ended up cracking all the way and made my car run terribly. Ended up going this route anyway, save yourself some time and upgrade.

++++++++++++++++1 what they said, it's not something seperate from the whole air duct,
it's $115 plus any shipping but if you're going to be in the USA probably $125 shipped if you couldn't locate the item, 2 in stock

Thank you for the replies guys.

I assume when you are talking about a one piece duct you are talking about the following duct as shown on a 2004 350z.

Does an "upgrade" to an 350z duct involve a different MAF as well?

The G35 has an extra vacuum hose plugged into the intake very close to the throttle body. I don't know exactly where it goes. Is there a hole for that that is not visible on the bottom side of the air duct???

the way i replaced mine was i went to local part store " OReileys" and asked them to cut me a 3 foot hose, cut her to size, works like a charm..$3 buck fix!

BTW that vaccum hose goes from the intake to a port right under that throttle body kinda hard to see but it sticks out so it cant be missed.

I went ahead and bought the 350Z part.
Nissan part # 16576-CD00A.

The vacuum hose that I was referring to apparently has a connector on the lower side of the air duct.

I will updated with the install.

The OEM 350Z part is what's commonly referred to as a Z-tube on here. It's a very popular mod.

No you don't need a different MAF and the vacuum tube connects to a port on the bottom.
