The passenger side seat main harness from your sedan should be 4-pin, the one with black wire is the ground. Yes the switch can be removed and swapped.

I thought there was no power recline on 03-04 coupe passenger seat?

Sorry, I do mean power forward/back, there is no recline. The passenger seat is mostly plug and play, only the power forward/back motor connection needs a harness swap. I'm not sure which is ground on the motor though - blue or grey wire. I'm just trying to test the functionality of the motor.

I'm also not sure if the main harness needs to be connected for power forward to work, in which case I would actually need to hook it up to the car.

I've been told that the driver seat will be plug and play with my 03.0 sedan with memory (although ill obviously lose memory)

I believe you need to connect the main harness for the seat motor to work. The power is actually sent to the seat control module, which the motor and the switch both connect to. If it's plug and play, just connect to the main harness to test the seat. I didn't know the motor connection needs to be swapped though.

Just swapped a pair of Coupe seats into my sedan this thread was a huge help. Thanks NathanJax for the pic and description. 04 coupe seats into a 04 sedan apparently is supposed to be a direct plug in for the driver side but seats came with out harnesses so I ended up having to splice everything anyways. As far as I can tell everything is working properly. Seats feel great. Like your IN the seat and not just on it. My only complaint is that the passenger side sits too low now... I'll just make some spacers at work and everything should be all good. Awesome thread. Thanks to all who have contributed.

It should be a direct swap, the plugs should match up without making any change. Just unbolt your coupe seat, unplug the harness, swap in the sedan seat, plug in and bolt up, and you're good to go. However you should know that sedan seat sits higher than coupe seat, with coupe's lower roofline you'll be losing a lot of headroom, just to point it out.

Any one know were I can buy a Recliner power switch for driver side 04 sedan. My fingers are bleeding from trying to fix the housing and plus i lost the springs that hold the ball bearings.

Fwiw I just swapped the 04 coupe heated seat into my 2003.5 non heated sedan and everything plugged in perfectly with no splicing. Just thought I'd add to the info.

Also, I was wondering if there was any info on hooking up the heating element and switch for heat in the drivers side coupe seat in my non-heated seat sedan?

If yours is auto, then all you need is the switches and dremel the center console to mount it, or you can replace your center console with one that's already got switches mounted on. If yours is MT, then you'll need the switches, connecting harness, and a relay. Important: AT switches are different from MT's. make sure you get the right one for your model.

Just curious, why do you only need it on the driver side? Did you only put coupe seat on the driver side?

Well yeah I only replaced the drivers seat. I thought it would look funny only replacing one but it really doesn't. I swapped the headrest to the sedan and it looks pretty good. With the 5% tint on the windows no one can see it anyway, but it feels great!

My car is an AT but I think the seat came from a 6 speed car. Will I need AT or MT switches?

Your car is AT so you need AT switches. The car should be prewired but double check before you buy the switches. Pull the center console and look for the connectors under the cup holder area.

Crap. Doesn't look like mine is pre-wired.

Try removing the lower part of the console and look for the connectors, they could be tucked in there, if still nothing then you're out of luck. Hope someone who's done it can step in and give you a clearer instruction.
