DAAAYM...Called up West Coast Customs about Suede...

I have charcoal interior and I hate how the top half is tan...I called up West Coast Customs to see how much it would be to put suede on the headliner...they quoted $2500!!! DAAAYM...Then I asked about doing the entire interior and they said $6500-$7000!!! Is this how much it really costs? Or are they charging extra for the WCC name? Has anyone else done this to the G? If so, how much? Any pics? Any info is helpful...maybe I should do it myself!

well.. for a full interior, i am pretty sure they'll add in a waterfall, some screens and maybe a 007 tray somewhere.

as for the upper 'tan' treatment, $2500 sounds ridiculous. how much for the suede fabric?

I'm not feelin the waterfall...I was thinking of putting a buddae (or however you spell it) under the driver's side seat..that would feel cool while driving! Anyways, I don't know how much for the fabric, but I think it is cheap...Anyone think they can do a suede headliner by themselves?

You can probably do it your self.. It shouldn't be that hard.

Anyone else think this is a good idea? If I can get at least one other person, I will do it, but I need some help!

as for the pillars and plastic items, i am pretty sure you can tack it on with some spray glue and wrap the suede around them. as for the top roof, probably might need to steam mold it into shape? or perhaps tack that on as well...

could be done, but may look ugly as hell if not professionally.

oh and it's called a bidae... i think i would crash if i had a bidae while driving. :x

WCC? LOL, you called up the wrong place. They are very expensive! That's why only rappers do their custom work there, haha =P. My friend just got his headliner done for $400. They did great work! I'll see if I can get the name/number of the shop for you.

A guy around where I live charges under $1000 to do all the seats. That price is for vinyl, not leather. Those prices sounds kinda high.

I have heard you can not tell the difference between vinyl and leather (except the smell) and that vinyl holds up a lot better.

Why would you even call them? It's a name for rich folks, celebrities, and atheletes. I've seen their work and I haven't liked one car they've done. They always bling it out, way way too much. All show, no go.

I got my seats and shift boot done in suede at kreative. They quoted me 600 for the headliner and pillars. I'm wary of doing it beacause the sunroof trim, and light fixture and sunglass cubby and various little plastic pieces will still be wheat, while the rest will be black suede.

Stichcraft did my boat. They did the chairs, seats, couches in the cabin, graphics on the carpet in the cabin and in the "headliner" of the cabin and the side pannels in the boat. It was like $5500. If interested I have pics, but boats are way different from g35's lol.

I went back a few months ago to get a quote to do my trucks seats and headliner in the same theme and he said roughly $3300.
