20x10.5 Wheels

Hey party people, just wondering if anyone has ever ran 10.5 width rims in the front of a 2nd gen without any problems? I plan on running 20x10.5 all around
thanks

Haven't heard of it for the fronts. Check out the sticky on aftermarket wheels in this section. 9" is the largest if I recall.

Theres a 1st gen coupe on here running 10.5 up front so just wondering if a 2nd gen sedan could. Didnt find anything larger then 9'' in the sticky.

I think you meant 1st Gen Sedan. Yes Levon (donpisto AKA The Stimulation) is running a 10.5 up front, but have you seen all of the work he's done to make those wheels fit? He's by far the most aggressive 1st Gen Sedan on static suspension. What's your motivation to do 10.5 up front? I would stick to a 9.5/10.5 setup.

The rolling friction would be horrible on a 10.5 on the front.

you do know coupes have more wheel room than a sedan right? get high offsets to make them fit.

It's not too huge of a difference though for the front fenders. You can easily fit a 20x9.5 +0 with 225/35 tires with a good drop and using a fender finisher tool on the fenders.

As for rubbing with the 10.5 up front, it's minimal with my stretch and camber (225/30 and almost -5 camber). I lowered it more and I have to re-trim my new passenger fender where the sidemarker is. Other than that, no issues.

Fitting a 10.5 will definitely require a stretch tire. Amount depends on camber, which you'll have to have some negative camber, and also a higher offset if you don't want too much negative camber. A 9.5" would be more ideal. Only reason why I did it was because I sold my front wheels and ordered new rears.
