what is in the manual is there to stay. set the rest to factory spec or as close as you can, BUT set the front TOTAL toe to .16-.18 to help with the feathering issues. if you're lowered, you need camber kits and set them to factory or whatever you want....esp if you are needing camber for your stance.

alright.... how would my coupe have to be adjusted? 03.5 coupe came with oem 18's i have oem 19" rays now my FL is -2.5 FR 0.6 RL -3.4 RR -.02

i am at stock height oem everything, 66k miles.

Im glad you metioned this in the post because my last 2 sets of tires only lasted around 5000 miles. I have a 2007 G35 coupe with the 19s and i can't keep tires on the front 225/40/19. I bought a set of the handkook ventus V12s that lasted a little over 5000 miles and replaced them with kumho SPTS and Im almost at 5000 miles and they already need replacing. The tires are wearing evenly across and don't pull to either side. I can let go of my steering wheel and the car keeps a straight line for a while. Something has to be off because there is know way these tires should wear so fast. I don't race, drift or do burnouts. I drive the speed limit and take care of my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Problem solved guys, my toe was off on the front tires. The left front was suppose to be 0.04 and it was 0.76 and the right front tire was 0.67. One of the rear tires was also off but I went to the nissan dealership and had a 4 wheel alignment done for $69.99. I also had my drive belts changed at a Europeon car shop for $107 for both belts when the dealership wanted to charge me $150 plus tax for changing 1 belt when they had to remove the first belt to get to the one that needed to be changed. I bought 2 new Kumho Ecsta SPTs mounted and balanced for $368. Also had my oil changed with a mobil 1 special for $31.99 oil and filter. So my entire day was spent taking care of my care.

nah, those are the specs with no one in the car, but with "Fuel, engine coolant and engine oil full. Spare tire, jack, hand tools and mats in designated positions."

wow thanks for the quick response. good to know, cause the shop i go to has the car on the ground little pivoting stools.

Is there anywhere that has info on what the specs should be when the car is lowered with 20" wheels?

I have an 04 coupe, lowered ~2in with 20's. I had a long talk with the guys at Firestone today about my alignment and they are basically saying they have no way of knowing what my car should be aligned at because they can only go by the factory suspension specs...

^If they say that, just back away slowly, and get your car aligned somewhere else.

You DON'T want people like that touching your alignment.

G35 front wheel alignment specs

I had found a reference to a factory bulletin that supposedly changed the front wheel alignment specs to reduce tire feathering but have not been able to locate the actual bulletin.
Anyone have a copy or know if this story is BS?

Most don't understand this and copy oem specs because they do not have engineering expertise or test equipment necessary.

* misalignment sitting still so that it is optimum on highway at speed when the bushings are compressed by forward speed. Tires are forced rearward and straight [toe] by rotation forces.
Interesting piece of information there.
Where would one find that "test equipment necessary" that you refer to? At a tire shop? An aftermarket tuning shop?
Any suggestions on where I can find the list of specs for alignment of various drops?
