Hankook Ventus V12 Evo k110

Anyone have any feedback on these?

I'm looking in to max performance tires for a daily driven coupe, and these stood out right away. They are very cheap, yet have had positive reviews.

I don't plan on tracking with these tires, as I should have a set of dedicated track wheels in the future. I just want a tire that will perform great in the dry [and wet] without having to spend 300+ per tire.

I have fitted these tyres to my wifes Renault Clio. I know, not the most powerful car in the world but I have nothing but praise for this tyre. Very quiet on the road and loads of grip in the wet and dry. Definetely gives you more confidence in the car. In fact, I will be fitting a set of the Hankooks to my Coupe in a few weeks time.

Good to hear.

The only minus I have heard for this tire is the relatively soft sidewall. I guess you can't expect everything when this tire costs half the price of others.

I should be getting them soon.

I felt the opposite about it, it has a stiff sidewall, not sure if its as stiff as some of the competition, but its noticeably stiff over OEM fitment and other allseason I've experienced.

I got mine in 255/35/19 and 295/30/19 fitment. I love them, they do great in the rain and in the dry, I almost never hear them except on old road surfaces.

I just got a set of these about a month ago and so far I love them. The ride is not too punishing, while still providing decent sidewall stiffness. They're quiet and have great grip in the dry, as well the wet (I got to test them in the rain this weekend). Overall I highly recommend, and you get all this without breaking the bank. I think you'd be very happy with them.

I am looking into these as well. Depends on the offset of my rears I suppose, but if I go the +22 route, I'll be looking at the Hankooks in 255 and 285, if I go +12 I will be going 255 and 275 with some Vredesteins I think.

Any other people with opinions on the Kooks? I'm wary of them more than the Vreds which seem to have built up quite the reputation. All else fails, it's RE050A pole positions.

Been an awesome tire for the price so far. Have had great feedback from customers I've sold them to. Mail in rebate going on them as well right now

I just got them mounted. I haven't had time to do any spirited driving in them yet [waiting for my alignment before I do so]. But the first thing I noticed is that they are VERY quiet

Definitely much quieter than my previous tires [245/275 T1R's & 225/245 RE050A's]. And they feel firm on the highway (haven't checked what PSI they were set at yet).

They also look great.

Unless PS2's and RE050A PP's get a serious price reduction, I think I may have found my preferred daily driven tires.

Please let us know how they do over time and your driving impressions after some more aggressive shenanigans.

I'm going to run my current set out until winter, winter setup until Feb or so and then new wheels and tires for spring. Hopefully by then enough reviews will be out on these tires for me to decide between all the options.

You guys might be interested in this article:

I searched for more reviews on S2k forums, EVO forums, my350z, etc, etc, and they have all been positive reviews.

They are a true bargain!

I read that C&D review, that's what initially peaked my interest that they could be quite a decent tire. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke I guess.

What sizes are you running?
