HELLAFLUSH GUYS!! Looking to purchace Nankang NS2 tires or others that stretch well??

hey guys thought id ask here since im tired of searching the web. Thought id get your opinions on who online would have the best prices on a set of 4 245/35/20 Nankang NS2

Best price I have found shipped so far is $410 ish, need them shipped to 98281

I know some of you guys are going to say "why Nankangs" haha reason is after doing a lot of research they seem to be one of the best tires to stretch and are very affordable.

any help/advise would be greatly appreciated!

I have checked with the major online stores, tire rack, discount tires direct etc...

Also if there is any other tires you guys recommend please let me know, After looking into which tire is best to stretch seemed like ALOT of guys are running Nankangs/Federals, I picked the Nankangs since they tend to run smaller where as Federals run large.

thanks

The Nankangs stretch well and are quite smaller than similar sized tires. They are much more rounded.
Longevity has been pretty good but the noise is rough. That's my only complaint.

seems like after having 2 threads on driver, suggestions have been to go with 235/35/20 or even 225's Generals or 245/35/20 Nankangs

any other suggestions?

Bahahaha....that was provided to me by Cookie Monster (not so bad sounding).

I also heard the Nankangs stretch good. I know of a couple guys on the VIP forum that use them. Hankooks have a nice stretch, but on extreme stretches (not sure about regular stretches) they don't keep their shape and might bubble so when you flip, you may be unable to use them again. Happened with one of my tires.

I like how Generals stretch, but remember that they do run a little a larger so you have to compensate for that.

Toyos are nice too, but they have a stiff sidewall so it may be a lil more work to stretch if you're lookin for somethin crazy.

To help out with stretching of any tire, you can let the tire bake in the sun for a few hours before mounting to give it some more flexibility. It's not necessary but can be helpful with extreme stretches..

^^ Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the S Drives stretch a bit on the larger side? I'm stretching a 245/35 S Drive on a 10.5 wheel and its not anywhere as much of a stretch as my friend's 255/35 Falken 452 on his 10.5.

Unless I'm looking at it incorrectly. Does anyone care to enlighten me on that?

I really don't know to be honest. I haven't used or seen Yoko's or Falken's stretched in person. Hopefully someone else can shed some light.

after seeing the stretch of a 235/35/20 General on a 10, and 245/35/20 Nankang on a 10 seems like i might have to drop to a 225 General to have the same stretch of a 245 Nankang. Does that sound right? Nankangs run that much smaller then the Generals? haha

stretch in accordance to the clearance you need

look at picture threads and different specs

don't buy the tires yet seems like you have a lot more learning to do

I think a 245/35 on a Nankang would be like running a 255/35 true tire size and 265/35 on a General tire. From the looks of it, a 245/35 General is about the same as a 235/35 Hankook and thats large vs true tire size. If the same holds up, then true vs small would be another size down. May not be exactly the same but will be similar.

and +1 to the clearance. You could end up with too much gap or rub like crazy if you don't do it in accordance to stretching.
