So I have been looking at wheels for quite some time. What caught my eye originally was the Vossen CV3s but is out of my budget. I tried looking for something similar and I found 'Niche Milan' wheels. These still have that concave style that I wanted. If I were to get these, I would like to get 19s. I wanted to know y'all's opinions on these. This is the only picture I found online of these wheels on a black g35 which I have. Please no rude comments. Thanks! Wheel Opinions-image-2042228063.jpg

Vossen is garbage. Save your $ and put towards a MUCH better wheel man

Honestly I think the CV3 is a great design but I've heard way too many stories about them failing structurally. There are plenty of replicas out there that look pretty much exactly like the CV3 but cost half. If you're really set on CV3's, get a replica so if something happens to them, at least you'll feel good knowing you didn't drop 2k on them. I used to have a set of Vossen CV7 and they held up fine but people seem to have more problems with the CV3 than with anything else.

As i said, Vossen CV3s was the wheel that i ORIGINALLY wanted. These aren't Vossens. These are Niche's. but thanks for your input though. Ill keep looking for other wheels but at the same time, i am not going to forgot about these because i personally think it looks sick.

Yes, i really love the design but as i previously said that i was looking for a replica of the Vossen CV3 because its too expensive. I found one which was these wheels (in the picture) 'Niche Milan' for half the price. I'm still going to be looking but i got my eyes set on these already.

A REPLICA of a wheel known to fail structurally
A REPLICA of an already cheaply made, chinese cast wheel

Plenty of used work/Volk options that are not only the safer bet but in the long run will be much easier to sell off...you could pick them for not much more than new replica wheels man

^or Enkeis even. I've never heard anything negative about them, even though they're cast.

I'm running a set of VMR V705 wheels that are similar to the CV3's design. (Actually they're quite different lol, but if you're looking for a 5-spoke design these hit the spot.) They're not as concave, but they do look great on my coupe. If you're interested I might be able to work out a deal for you. http://rupromenergo.ru/forums/media-s...ss-thread.html

SSR GTV01s also have the concaved 5 spoke look if you want to stay on that path.

Even if you had the budget, I think I speak on behalf of most of this community when I say that you should avoid Vossens. Yes, they look great, but that's all you'll be getting out of them. They are heavy, low quality low pressure cast wheels, that are greatly overpriced.

That said, if you're looking for something similar to the CV3s, you should take a look at Stance SC5. Has the same 5 spoke design you're going for, and it's easier on your wallet

I had a set of Vossen wheels and while they were indeed heavy (20" wheel) I didn't have any issues with them. Most of the stories you hear relate to the CV3 cracking and bending which I believe is the only design of Vossen that you should worry about. However, you should still do your research and do what you can to mitigate those risks.... stretching a thin tire onto that wheel and your driving habits/environment can all play into what happens to a wheel. While it is true that Vossen wheels are overpriced for their quality (cast wheel at forged prices), you can easily find a used set with tires for cheap.

Get niches. They were the **** back in the 90's. Don't know why they wouldn't be now.

Budget best buy!

Since you can't afford new quality wheels and I wouldn't suggest you pend your $$ on cheap replicas! Check out our Marketplace under Private Classified for 19" wheels. You should be able to find Works or Volks at a very good price and some include tires too. Be careful of offsets with 9" or 10" wheels, nothing under high teens or over mid 20s so you're not stretching fenders...Gary
